Mother's Day

Riley came home from school on Friday with Mother's Day gifts a plenty. He gave me a red carnation, some soothing tea, a scented candle, and a refrigerator magnet. When they were making the magnets, each child told their teacher about things they like to do with their mothers. Riley's says "I like to kiss Mommy." Awwww....

On Sunday morning, Chris made breakfast for his mother and me. We had mimosas, scrambled eggs, rosemary potatoes, bacon, and croissants in the sun-speckled side yard. Riley had Apple Jacks.

Wonderful presents! That Little Boy has such good taste! Brunch looks like a food mag spread.

Sounds like a wonderful day for both Mothers. Well done "boys"! Although we sure miss Grandma Linda, we are very glad that she is having this time with her Cali family. Now if we could just get Pat on a plane! Hmmmmmm.....The plotting begins!
