He seemed to like trash a lot. And bugs.
He was cool, I guess.

He could compact himself into a box shape. Kirsten and I can't do that.
He had a few highly reflective parts which impressed. Kirsten and I like shiny things.
Remember that E.T.-inspired song by Neil Diamond, "Heartlight?" Boy, did that suck.
